Sarah Jane Holt grew up in the beautiful countryside of Devon, England. Developing a talent for creativity and music she studied piano at an earlier age and started painting whilst at school. Further education in art and design led to travel and working as an artist for over a decade, exhibiting underr the name Silva Sista. Sarah has a particular interest working with socio-economically disadvantaged communities as an artist in residence, and within schools and youth projects to develop a sense of ownership and pride for the area we live in.

Inspired by travels in the East, Buddhism, Spiritualism and a more simplistic approach to life led to a growing interest in natural medicine, Yoga and Meditation.

In 2004 Sarah completed a diploma in Reflexology, this new vocation opened many possiblities to achieving better health and well-being through natural means and re-balance. Particularly in this age of Cancer and ill health being so prevalent in the West. Further continued professional development specialising in cancer care through Reflexology and Palliative care.

India 2007 Sarah studied Ayurvedic medicine and Massage. Fascinating to compare the ancient systems of China and India. Further visits to India followed to study Yoga, completing a teacher training certificate in Yogic studies in 2009.

Sarah is currently teaching in higher education as well as private students.
